네이버 스마트스토어에서 모바일 소액결제로 주문한 제품에 대한 환불 방법이 오픈마켓과 소셜커머스 등 유통채널에 맞게 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 오픈마켓은 '포인트'로 환불 해주는 반면 소셜커머스와 대형 온/오프라인몰은 계좌로 '현금' 지급하고 있습니다.
신세계인터내셔널 지인은 “스마트폰 소액결제는 신용카드 결제와 비슷한 구조이기 덕분에 당사자가 계좌로 이체가 된다”고 말했다. LF몰 관계자 역시 “스마트폰 소액 결제는 다날, ISP/페이북 등으로 이미 결제가 된 부분이기 덕분에 현금으로 즉시 지급하고 있다”고 이야기했었다.
전년 금감원은 소액결제 현금화 등 불법금융광고를 방송통신심의위원회에 요청해 사이트 폐쇄와 게시글 삭제, 계정 중지 등을 결정했지만 ‘언론 보도에는 대응하지 않았다. 금감원 지인은 “언론의 보도는 선전으로 규정할 수는 없어 보여서 판단하기 힘든 면이 있습니다”고 하였다.
